Lair: Noun. A wild animal’s resting place, esp. one that is well hidden. In the mythical days when giants lived on the North Antrim Coast and built the Causeway, they must have shaped their lair by boldly moulding the landscape and perhaps adorned it with the multicoloured plumes of the giant birds that also nested on the barren wind swept cliffs. Our project seeks to evoke those mythical times by recreating the magical aura of the giants’ lair on this legendary site of Northern Ireland.
